Heart Fingers
It’s been said before
Love is a painful thing
Such a cliché
Doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
The absence of love
Oh what a yearning!
My heart has fingers
Blindly groping
Reaching
For another heart to touch.

Although it seems to you like you rambled, the devotion you shared last Monday was meaningful for me. When I started giving that love and acceptance to others is when I felt most loved and accepted. But how amazing to know God took the initiative to love us first!
